My first Chinese tree

Tags: tree

My first encounter with Chinese trees was 15 years ago, when I visited friends at the Gulf coast area. It was the fall season, time of nature birth. On one of the bright sunny days, I walked through my friends' garden. The spectacular purple blooming of a tree I've never met before really thrilled me. It was so beautiful and colorful, like a postcard. But it was real. I was fascinated by its deciduous leaves. The amazing spring blossom of this remarkable tree forced me to find out its name, origin and where I can find some plants of this species. As some of you may have already guessed, it was the Chinese tree known as tallow. That tree made me a big fan of Oriental trees and Chinese ones especially. Today, I have my own garden with many plants from Asia. You are all welcomed in springtime to visit my backyard, relaxing under my parasol tree and other various trees which are blooming amazingly. This blog is dedicated to my true love that has never failed me and always inspiring me and encourages me in difficult times. Although they can't talk, their beauty and touching them is enough.
