Since I live in North Carolina only about 1 1/2 hours from the beach, I just had to have this stamp set. The beach is my happy place! What is your happy place?

Winter Holidays meets the Beach

This card was such a fun, quick card to create. Living in North Carolina, we love to visit the beach even in the fall or early spring when we have warm weather. I think this would be a fun stamp set to use by individuals that maybe go somewhere warm over the Christmas Holiday or maybe enjoy going on a cruise. Yes, if I were to take a cruise over the holiday’s I could easily see sending a Beachy Little Christmas themed card.

• Card Details

  • Of course, I’ve used my go-to card base. Thick Whisper White for the win!
  • On the top Whisper White layer, I stamped the palm tree with Memento Ink. 
  • I colored the Palm Tree using the Stampin’ Blends. I absolutely LOVE the new Alcohol Markers from Stampin’ Up! They coordinate beautifully with Stampin’ Up! products so it is easy to select and use the blends.
  • The sentiment is stamped with Crumb Cake.
  • Along the base of the Palm Tree, I sponged Sahara Sand to make it look like sand.
  • At the top left edge of the card, I added Washi Tape.
  • Finally, the finishing touch is the addition of Gold Metallic Enamel Shapes.
