Winter Holiday

I’m excited to be sharing to fun projects today. The first is a card featuring the Musical Seasons Stamp Set and coordinating Musical Instruments Framelits. For the second project I’m featuring the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes paired with the Merry Little Labels and Musical Season Stamp Set.

Project #1 – Musical Season French Horn

If you love music or have someone in your life that plays an instrument then the the Musical Season Bundle is a MUST have item. This bundle with the Musical Season Stamp Set and Musical Instruments Bundle is awesome. I love the French Horn and the Little Drummer Boy.

My favorite Christmas song is the Little Drummer Boy. It also warms my heart that Caleb’s favorite Christmas song is also the Little Drummer Boy. I really bought this set for the little drummer boy.

I love how the card turned out. I’ve used the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper as the background layer. On Whisper White, I splattered the card layer with Multipurpose glue that is mixed with water then I sprinkled Gold Glitter over the front of the card to stick in the glue.

A strip of Whisper White was added with layers of the plant stamped from the Musical Season Stamp Set. The plant is stamped with Basic Black on Old Olive. I’ve tucked the plan around the strip of Whisper White. Then I added the French Horn which is die cut using Gold Foil and layered with Black Metallic Thread attached to the back of the French Horn. Finally, I added the sentiment stamped in Old Olive.

Project #2 – Clear Tiny Treat Box 

Attached to the box, I’ve added a tag stamped using the Merry Little Labels Stamp Set and Everyday Label Punch. The tag is stamped with Old Olive then a scallop oval is attached to the back of the tag. To attach the tag to the Clear Tiny Treat Box, I used linen thread and tied the tag to the Jute along with adding a Green Sprig and Gold Mini Sequins.

This will be a fun gift for Caleb to give to Grandpa.  Grandpa and Caleb LOVE to argue about Peanut M&M’s. Grandpa will say “Mine” then Caleb will tell him “NO, My M&M’s.” But the whole time they are sharing them together. It’s a cute and adorable way that Grandpa (my dad) connects with his grandson.
