Easy Halloween cookies

Halloween is a great time of year, especially with all the fun Halloween decorations everywhere. I love the fun desserts that also come with this time of year. Last week I shared the best-ever sugar cookies recipe and people are loving it. Recently I was asked to make a Halloween Cookie with a summer cookie cutter. I ended up making 3 different easy Halloween cookies with my ice cream cone cookie cutter and they are so cute! This post may contain affiliate links. Full disclosure is on my contact page.  What you need: Sugar cookies, colored glaze, fondant, sprinkles, ice cream cone cookie cutter, chocolate chips Make your sugar cookies and let them cool completely. You are going to want to use the sugar cookie recipe I shared because these cookies are amazing! Cover the entire cookie with white glaze for the ghost. I used chocolate chips for the eyes and a round piece of fondant for the mouth. I used the boxed fondant and it’s so easy to use, but you can always make your own. You can also buy eye and mouth candy pieces to use for your ghost face. For the witch cookies, I turned the cookie upside down and used brown glaze for the hair first. I filled in the face with green glaze and the hat with purple. I used fondant to make the hat brim and eyes. Star sprinkles were added to the witch hat and sprinkles for the mouth and eyes. And last, but not least are the jack ‘o lantern ice cream cones. I used white glaze for the cone and orange for the ice cream. I added green sprinkles for the pumpkin leaves and fondant for the face and ice cream cone design. When you are done decorating your cookies, let them set for as long as possible. I think my favorite cookie is the jack o’ lantern ice cream cone… Comment below and tell me which one is your favorite!
