Boho Berry Challenge – Week Three Round-up

This month, as you might have read, I’m participating in the #bohoberrychallengeon Instagram. It’s both fun and eh… challenging!

If you want to take part too, it’s not too late to start. Just visit the Boho Berry website and follow the instructions there.

WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, HERE IS MY third WEEK OF RESPONSES

Day 14 – Small Goals

Here are some small goals I have for the coming month or two.

  • Finish the quilt I’m working on
  • Plan out trip to Sweden
  • Buy a wedding present for a friend
  • Get better at goal setting!

Days 15 & 16

Action Steps

Today, I actually took and action step which takes me a teeny tiny step closer to my goal of running a marathon one day. I started a C25K running program!

I mean, it really is a tiny step, but a step none the less. And I feel positive, so that’s good right?

Analog Tools

My main analog tool is my Bullet Journal. It’s been quite the life changer for me in terms of keeping track of things. I also use a variety of pens, stickers and washi to spruce it up a bit.

My bullet Journal has actually replaced almost all other analog tools I was using, and some digital ones too. Not too bad!

On top of my bullet journal, I also keep a separate journal for more long-form writing and any existential issues I might have. They don’t usually fit on a daily page!

Days 17 & 18

Digital Tools

I don’t use many digital tools at all, so this is going to be short and sweet.

I use google calendar and email, and apart from a period tracker app on my phone, that’s it. Oh, and I also use an app called Bring for grocery shopping lists. But that’s really it.

xx, Sofi

Tracking Progress

Since starting my bullet journal, tracking progress towards my goals has become much more fun and a great deal easier.

Things I use to keep myself on track are:

  • Goal pages
  • To-do lists
  • Project specific spreads
  • Trackers
  • Progress logs

Focus

This is hard for me, I’m not going to lie.

I have a very active and somewhat nervous, anxious mind, and so I’m easily distracted.

Putting my phone in a different room, or out of reach while I work helps a bit, but if a train of thought siezes me, I sometimes have to deal with it to make it go away.

Other times I’m almost too focused – I forget to eat or go to bed because I’m so caught up in what I’m doing.
