My name is Gary Gilman and I am the owner of Casting In Scale. I have been on hiatus for about 5 years now and have recently decided to get back into the business. I used to manufacture kits and parts for the model railroad hobbyist. I am well versed in Hydrocal casting.
I am in the process of developing a whole new product and kit line that will feature stuff that was in my "To Do" file that never got done, plus a line of kits based on a fictious logging company called the Indian Stream and Beaver Falls Lumber Co.
I have on the drawing board a number of different kits. The first in this series to be released is going to be a saw filers shack complete with everything you would need in a saw filers shack.
As the release time gets closer, I will be looking to all of you out there to give me feedback on what you would like to see in these kits (other than what is already listed) for detail parts. I will be posting pictures on this site as the final kit is near completion
All product and kit announcements will be made HERE FIRST!, so I suggest to you that you subcribe to this feed with your favorite news reader and make sure that you are the first to know about any new products first!
I am also allowing comments on each blog entry so that you can let me know how I am doing and give me feedback on what you would like to see here. I will also be adding others that will "Guest Blog" about subjects that they are better versed in than I am.
