Just as a heads up, this is what I have planned for the next couple of months (ok more specific, the next 6 months)
Scenery Articles:
These will be in small installments that will be available both here and as an ebook (eventually) that will be available for free. I will write some of the articles but I hope that you all will contribute something as well. Whether its a "tip and trick" or a full blown article on how to do something, I will welcome all contributions. All that contribute to it will be recognized. Think of it as a "cook book" for scenery ideas with a whole bunch of tips and tricks that will help you with your scenery on your present and any future layouts. I will have more on how to do this in later installments
I love doing scenery work and really feel like I've accomplished something when I stand back and look at it and it looks real!
Casting Articles:
I have decided to do a whole series of casting articles that will take you from making the master to the final product. I really enjoy doing this stuff and want to share that with you. It makes no sense to keep something that gives me so much pleasure all to myself. I hope that you have as much fun making and doing your own projects as I plan to in writing about them.
Purchased Product Reviews:
These are going to be for products that I have used either in my scenery, casting or model manufacturing work. This will be for products that I have purchased so I can give you a better idea of how it is used, why I chose it over something else and the truth about how it works (or didn't work) for me. I will only review products that I buy due to the fact that I don't want to have any pressure placed on me to give it a "good review". If it will work for me...I hope to be able to make it work for you.
Publishing Scedule:
I hope to publish an update once a week. Some times there will be more, other times it might have to be extended due to a heavy work schedule. I will try to include all submissions as soon as I receive them, most will be done within 48 hours.
That's it for now
