This Doll head is for a doll called "ichimatsu" and ichimatsu dolls are the closest thing to the Western idea of a play doll.

This one measures about 10 cm long including her hair, about 7.5cm from the top of her head to her chin and about 20.5cm around. The details are really amazing! The head is made of clay.

All of our doll heads are either vintage, used or have been in storage for a long time and therefore aren't perfect. Please look at the pictures carefully.

This doll head is quite unique. Rather than being made from plastic, resin or clay, it is molded and the top material is almost like a nylon fabric (like nylons/stockings). The faces are painted on. They are quite light.
