Introduction: What is IIFT Exam?

IIFT Exam is an annually held management entrance examination conducted by IIFT, New Delhi for admission to its MBA in IB (International Business) course. Admission to the said course is through a 2 stage process involving IIFT Entrance test followed by GD, Interview and Writing Ability Test. IIFT 2019 Important Dates (Tentative)

IIFT 2019 Exam Date

IIFT 2019 Exam Date is expected to fall in the 4^th week of November 2018 or 1st week of December 2018.

Mode of Answering

IIFT 2019 will be an objective type offline examination only.

Medium of Examination

IIFT exam 2019 will be conducted in English language Only.

Following eligibility criteria must be satisfied in order to appear for IIFT entrance exam.

Nationality

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree with a duration of minimum 3 years in any discipline from a recognized institute. Also, the candidate must have scored minimum 50% marks in the degree (45% for SC/ST/PWD)

Appearing Candidates

Candidates appearing for the final year exams also satisfy the IIFT eligibility. However, their application should be followed by the submission of a proof of qualification.

Age limit

There’s no age limit for IIFT entrance exam.

IIFT Selection Procedure

Indian Nationals

On the basis of the marks obtained in the IIFT Entrance Test, the candidates will be called for writing skill assessment, Group Discussion and Interview which will be held between 4th week of January till middle of February.

Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI

On the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) Score. Applicants shortlisted on the basis of GMAT scores will have to appear for a Personal Interview at IIFT campus before being absorbed as students by IIFT.

IIFT Registrations 2019

IIFT registrations portal is currently closed. 

IIFT application form 2019 are expected to be available from the last week of July 2018.

Students can apply only via online mode. Offline mode is not available for IIFT 2019.

Application Fee

The application fee for IIFT 2019 entrance exam is tabulated below:

The fees can be paid via either of the following methods:

• Online mode with credit/debit in which the candidates are not required to send the printout of application form, and

• Offline with Demand Draft, in which the candidates are required to send the DD along with the application form printout.

Documents to be Uploaded

• Photo: size less than 50 KB and in .jpg format
• Sign: size less than 50 KB and in .jpg format

For candidates belonging to NC-OBC/SC/ST/PwD,

It is mandatory to send the printout of the application form.

Candidates must attach a self-attested copy of the caste certificate/PH certificate, and Central Level OBC certificate.

For Foreign Nationals / NRIs 

Following documents must be attached with the IIFT Application form:

• Filled-in CV form.
• Copy of GMAT score (latest).
• Attested copy of Academic mark sheets/certificates (Class X,XII and Graduation).
• Copy of Passport pages with official entries.

• An assurance that he/she has not appeared for any MBA related Exams.

• 2 letters of recommendation. One, by a current supervisor or manager. Second, by a person holding the position to analyse the candidate’s professional performance. (Applicable for working professionals only).

• An application stating that the candidate has been a resident for a period of not less than 18 months from the Indian Embassy/ High Commission/ Consulate of the country.

Steps of Applying

Following major steps are involved in a successful IIFT application form:

1. Online Registration through Official website.
2. Payment of application form fee via Online payment/Demand draft.
3. Uploading the Photograph and signature.
4. Taking a printout of the completed IIFT application form 2019 for future references (applicable for General category applicants)
5. Sending the application form printout along with relevant documents as listed above to the following address.

IIFT 2019 Admit card

IIFT 2019 Admit Card will be available from the 3rd week of November 2018 and can be downloaded till the exam date.

Candidates can download IIFT admit card from the official website https://iiftadmissions.net.in/ only.

IIFT Examination Pattern 2019

IIFT 2019 will be a 2-hour long Pen/Paper based test comprising of 4 sections:

• English Language: Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension
• General Knowledge & Current Affairs
• Logical Reasoning
• Data Interpretation and Quantitative Analysis.

Unlike other management entrance examination, IIFT entrance exam doesn’t possess a fixed marking scheme or fixed number of questions. The pattern varies year by year.

IIFT 2019 Results

IIFT 2019 results will be published in the 1st or 2nd week of January 2019 on their official website. Candidates will be provided with their IIFT scorecard and All India Rank along with the IIFT 2019 cut off.
