A few media companies mentioned Linda Bannon – a woman from Illinois, who was born without hands, a condition names Holt-Oram syndrome.


As you can see, Linda got married a non-disabled guy and they got a son Timmy Bannon, who also doesn’t have hands.

While this video is inspirational and stuff, it leaves a few, very disturbing thoughts.
Evolutionary, Linda was not supposed to survive, let alone produce offspring, and the bad genes would be removed from joint human gene pool. This obviously didn’t happen, and Linda’s son is cure enough to get his own bride and continue the mutation further into generations.
This is not how evolution is supposed to work, and breaking the natures natural selection mechanisms we are endangering the genetic quality of future humans.
