Ingredients:
Boiled rice 2 cups
Green chillies 3
Ginger 1 inch piece
Mustard seeds 1tsp
Cumin seeds 1tsp
Bengal gram 1tsp
Curry leaves 10
Yogurt 1 cup
Turmeric powder 1 generous pinch
oil 1tsp
salt to taste
Method of preparation:
This is generally prepared by left over food esp. during morning.
In a bowl, mix rice with finely chopped green chillies and chopped ginger. Add yogurt and turmeric powder, salt and keep aside.
Heat oil, add Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, Bengal gram, Curry leaves and when they splutter pour on the above rice mixture and serve.
