Chris Bumstead Looks Stronger Than Ever Before

It looks like this year Olympia competition is going to be especially hot. While everyone is excited about the future battle between two great Olympia champions: Shawn Rhoden (the current one) and Phil Heath (the ex-champion). There is also a great intrigue expected in Classic Physique division.

Last year Chris Bumstead who is definitely of the most successful sportsmen in the division was diagnosed a very serious disease. The sportsman had to spend weeks in a hospital almost right before the competition. The juries of the contest and Bumstead’s fans were really worried seeing the sportsman unprepared on the stage. Bodybuilding experts told that Chris looked completely scatterbrained.

Perhaps, the situation gave that special chance to Breon Ansley who won the 2018 competition. It looks like this time Breon won’t be able to get the first place easily. Chris Bumstead is preparing to come back stronger than ever and he appears very serious about his goal.

Last year, giving an interview soon after 2018 Olympia was over, Chris told he didn’t know if there was a chance to return his physique again. Doctors told that the sportsman’s disease was unpredictable and no one could tell if Bumstead would have an opportunity to keep his diet and training routine due to possible development of the illness.

However, watching Chris’s instagram, it’s easy to understand that Bumstead is planning to be on the stage in 2019. The sportsman works just as hard as he used to be before and looks impressively well.

Recently Chris posted some photos and videos that leave no doubt, the sportsman has great chances to become the champion of the division this year. The competition between Ansley and Bumstead may become one of the hottest in the history of the division.
