41-year-old Roelly Winklaar gives his point of view in regards to winning the people’s champion award at the 2018 Mr. Olympia.
The Olympia weekend has come to an end and this year’s event offered a few new additions. One of those was that the audience had the chance to vote for who they thought should win the Olympia.
In addition, Roelly Winklaar won the award and was very pleased. In the finals, Winklaar ended up at the 3rd spot which is the best placing for him at the Olympia.
Winklaar has never had problems when it comes to overall mass but instead, he has struggled with conditioning and an extended stomach which was visible at times during the contests.
However, when Roelly won Arnold Classic Australia earlier this year, he presented a much more complete package with better conditioning with a tighter midsection. He has also developed his posing over the last years.
Additionally, he brought the same successful package to the Olympia.
