3 Healthy Easy Meals you Need to Know About

We all are aware of the fact that our diet plays a very significant role in keeping us Healthy and fit. Yet, it is also true that a majority of us eat unhealthy food and ignore out fitness. You will often hear people complain about healthy meals being very hard to find, hard to cook, or extremely expensive. To clear this myth, here are some easy meal ideas that are healthy, easy to cook, and within everyone’s budget. But before we start, we should know what healthy easy meals are.

As the name suggests, healthy easy meals are meals that can be prepared easily and are healthy. In order to be healthy, these meals do not require high dosage of specific vegetables etc. All one needs is the right balance of protein and vitamins, low fat and carbohydrate, less cholesterol, and you can easily make healthy meals. So without further ado, here are a few healthy easy recipes

1. Sprouted Grams salad

Use some sprouted red grams, or soak some red grams in water overnight, and once they sprout, use them. Chop some red onions, tomatoes, green chilies, Lettuce, and carrots. Mix all these with sprouted red grams and add salt, black pepper, and olive oil (2 tablespoon). Mix it well and serve it. You can have this for lunch or dinner. You can make it using green grams as well, or by mixing green and red grams. This meal is extremely healthy and easy to make; moreover and it is delicious if fresh lemon is squeezed on it. This particular dish is a rich source of protein and vitamins, and will provide your body with fiber to stay healthy.

2. Raita

This Indian recipe is not only healthy and nourishing, but is very easy to make as well. Slice or chop cucumber, onions, carrot, lettuce, and cabbage. Mix all these thoroughly and add some yogurt into it. Add salt, black pepper, and some chopped green chilies. Mix it thoroughly and it’s ready for consumption. This meal is served as a side dish, but there is no written rule that you cannot have a side dish as a main course. You can have this as healthy easy meals for your lunch and dinner both.

3. Vegetable Stir Fry with Whole Grain Flakes

This might sound ridiculous but is equally tasty and healthy. Well that is why it is mentioned under healthy easy meals. For this you need whole grain flakes cereals, and few vegetables (don’t be choosy; just get hold of any vegetable you have). Chop all the vegetables you have in thin slices. Chop onions and tomatoes. Now add some olive oil in a frying pan. As soon as the oil is warm, add some chopped onion and stir fry it. Now add vegetables and at last add tomatoes. Stir fry the mixture in the fan for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and black pepper.  Now, take a bowl and add whole grain cereals in it. Take the Vegetable Stir Fry and add it over the cereals in the bowl. Take a spoon and mix the mixture, so that cereals and vegetables should mix properly (Be careful as the vegetable stir fry is hot. Do not use hands to mix; use a spoon). Once mixed, serve.
