·         Ensure to eat a balanced diet with plenty fruits, whole grains and highly rich fiber products to help the digestive system to work effectively. ·         Make sure you avoid the ingestion of soda drinks, coffee, tea and other caffeine-rich products as the latter tend to cause dehydration, which in turn, leads to constipation and eventually makes way to hemorrhoids.
·         Develop a regimen of normal exercises daily to keep your body in shape by providing some kind of movement to the intestinal tract for the digestion of the food we eat. At least a 15 to 20 minutes walk or jogging daily is okay for the intestines to perform their duties in the digestive system.
The treatment of external hemorrhoids through the application of the above regimens is, in my opinion the most effective way to stay healthy and avoid the discomfort of having to go through the hassle of applying creams and ointments to your anal area because of the presence of a hemorrhoid.
