The current route to Karjat from Panvel is long and not of global standards. It is approximately 30 kms long and takes around 45 minutes to one hour to travel the distance. There is a new route proposed that will cut the distance drastically , making it extremely convenient for passengers traveling. Just like the Thane Vashi corridor has opened a doorway to development, it is expected that the Karjat Panvel corridor will do the same for the region.
