Lauren’s Opinion:
I decided to purchase this tea for two reasons.
1. It smells amazing.
2. I thought the name was super cool.
In dry form, this tea looked like sawdust. It had a strong lemon Flavour with a great zing that filled my taste buds with joy. Which is why I am so torn: thumbs up or thumbs down? And then, what star rating does it deserve? Yes, this tea is definitely tasty, but I could’ve got the same flavour by zapping some lemon juice in the microwave and adding some water and sugar. Though this tea is appetizing, I would much rather heat some lemonade and save myself the six dollars.
Brooke’s Opinion:
After several attempts, we finally found a strainer thin enough to hold all the little lemon bits. Was it worth the hassle? I suppose it all depends on how you feel about lemonade. Personally, this tea reminded me too much of neo-citron to enjoy. Lemonade is something I enjoy ice-cold on a summer day, not by the fireplace. But don’t give up on this tea yet. If my hypothesis is correct, King Tut+Ice=One cool Egyptian…tea.
