Are Your Stressed?

How was everyone’s week. Wonderful I hope. Ours went by quickly but we had a lot of unexpected things to go wrong, and you know what that creates, STRESS! We all face challenges in our daily life some are more overwhelming than others. Stress effects your mind, body and behavior in many ways. Too much stress in your life can be very harmful to your health an emotional well-being.

Well, we have found out that one of the best ways to manage stress is to throw yourself into something that will get your mind off of your problems. Myself, I like to engage in some kind of physical exercise such as walking, running or getting on a stepper. For me there is nothing like a good workout to get my mind off of my problems. It gives me a break and I always feel refreshed and relaxed afterwards.

I also like to put on some relaxing music and do stretches to the music; I just make up my routine as I go. I always like to end my workout with a few abdominal exercises. I use the exercise ball because it works your abdominals really well and it doesn’t put stress on your neck. You can work both upper and lower abs and there are many different ways to use the ball, so it is not the same thing all the time. Play music in the background to help you relax.

Stress management is very important in order to stay healthy. So I ask everyone to find some kind of outlet to relieve your stress.
