I've been asked on numerous occasions if past Life Regression is real or imaginary. Some people believe it completely and it seems utterly real to them. Others dismiss it as nonsense. So what is 'the truth'?
Well the truth is.....I'm not sure. I've witnessed people recalling past lives and describing them with astonishing detail. In some cases, when the recollections have been checked against historical fact, there are uncanny resemblances. If I'm to play devil's advocate for a moment, I could say that these details could have been memories stored deep in the subconscious mind that the person is unaware they know until they appear as part of the 'past life'. Really, it's impossible to know.
I find it an absolutely fascinating subject. I try at all times to keep an open mind while conducting these sessions, and try to impress upon my clients that they should take these recollections with a pinch of salt, and keep an open mind on them. I think it is more interesting to observe the memories and emotions that are released during the session - things that the client may not reveal ordinarily, but may find it more comfortable to do so as part of a past life.
In my experience, any hypnotic experience is beneficial to the client, so I would gladly assist anyone wanting to undergo a Past Life Regression subject to the usual conditions.
