What is a quick way to energize yourself, improve your mood and get your creativity flowing? Dance like no one is watching.
Don’t worry. You don’t have to dance like crazy in front of an audience (although you are welcomed to do so). Taking 10 minutes to dance freely is invigorating. You can dance by yourself or with friends to unleash positive energy.
There are numerous benefits to dancing. Research indicates that dancing “improves your heart health, overall muscle strength, balance and coordination, and reduces depression. These benefits have been seen across a variety of ages and demographics.” (Source: SMH)
You don’t have to limit your dancing to 10 minutes a day. Find a style of dance you enjoy, and explore taking dance classes. You’ll improve your dance skills and probably make many new friends.
