Shockingly, in most areas a large number of ob gyns are nearing retirement age. This could exacerbate an already tough situation. Around 37% of ob gyns are 55 years or older. It is critical that this issue is addressed and alternatives explored as the health outcomes of thousands of women are dependent on it.
