5 Things To Avoid When Trying To Conceive

In fact study has found that women who consumes more than the equivalent of one cup of coffee per day were half as likely to become pregnant, per cycle, as women who drank less. Plus, you won’t want to overdo it during pregnancy (caffeine interferes with your ability to absorb iron, can dehydrate you and, in high doses, can increase miscarriage and pretem birthrisk) so it’s worth cutting back too much caffeine from your diet now.

3) Excessive Drinking:- Excessive drinking whether it’s beer, wine or whisky when exceeds two drinks per day may cause irregualar periods, lack of ovulation and abnormal estrogen and progesterone levels, which can make it harder to conceive. It may even put your baby at risk for fetal alcohal spectrum disorders and it will take about two weeks or more after you conceive to know that you are actually pregnant. It goes same for your partner if he is having excessive drinks (5 drinks a week) Can reduce his sperm quality.

4) Extremes In Weight:- If you are extremely overweight or obese or underweight it could cause you to have irregular or missed periods and if you are extremely underweight it could make you stop ovulating altogether. Obesity may increase the risk of pregnancy complications such as gestational diabetes birth defects and the need for a C – Section. 5) Skipping The Veggies:- If your body is in healthy state you are more likely to conceive so eating healthy and right is essential. If you are skipping veggies form your diet it may not be a good choice for both mother and the unborn.
