Andrew Heafner, 65, celebrated his most loved occasion with his Family one final time after his specialists allegedly disclosed to him he has days left to live.
A Missouri family celebrated Christmas in July a week ago so their diminishing dad could go through his most loved occasion with his four kids one final time. Andrew Heafner, 65, has chosen to forego treatment for colon disease, and professedly was advised he has days to live.
“Who knows to what extent I got,” Heafner disclosed to Fox 2 Now. “They say a couple of days, however, I’ve kept going somewhat longer than that.”
So his better half, little girl and three children enlivened the house and set up the tree “with the greatest number of trimmings as we could put on it and lights,” which is the manner in which he prefers it, and wore shirts and shorts for their family festivity. The family postured for pictures encompassing Heafner in his St. Louis Cardinals equip with the family beagle adjacent.
“He needed to remain around until it’s frigid chilly outside, yet I wouldn’t fret spending Christmas in shorts and a shirt so it’s a win-win,” Thomas Heafner, one of Heafner’s children, revealed to Fox 2 Now. “It implied a considerable measure to him, and it’s something or other where we’ll always remember that.”
Heafner, who said the festival was just missing eggnog, called the day “awesome.”
