Take A Walk

Sometimes it’s easy to forget to exercise.  Okay, maybe there are those times that we don’t forget.  Did you have a long day at work?  Did you sit in Bumper to bumper traffic for two hours tonight? The last thing you want to do is go to the gym and be judged.  I’m right there with you.  In fact, I’m sitting on my couch right now in my favorite pajamas.  I’ll go a step further.  I  got home awhile ago from eating at our local Mexican food restaurant and I ate a huge platter of delicious fried food and drank two frozen Strawberry Margaritas.  Guess what? I don’t feel guilty.  I don’t feel guilty because I like to enjoy my life without worrying about how many calories I consumed at dinner.

I did however feel guilty when I walked in the door and my dog was patiently waiting for me to tell her that it was time to go for a Walk.

It got me thinking, my dog needed the exercise.  Even if I was lazy and couldn’t stand the thought of it.  So, I decided to put my dogs happiness before my own this evening. After all, my shows are recorded, they were still  available on my TV when I returned.  I went on a ten Minute walk with my little angel and not only was she extremely happy, I felt pretty good myself.

So, get out there.  Even if it’s for just a few minutes, the fresh air will do you some good.

Easy 10 minute workouts

Look at my baby’s face! How could I resist?
