The first thing to mention about the Husqvarna Viking sewing machine Sapphire 930 is that it is extremely easy to use. Winding the bobbin, which is often a hassle on many sewing machines, can be done seamlessly in this one (pun intended!). This is one thing that contributes to making the Sapphire 930 very beginner-friendly.

The stitch selection process is also relatively simple, even compared to other Husqvarna Viking sewing machine products out there. The Sapphire 930 provides 574 total stitches. This is a very nice feature to have and can save you a lot of preparation time.

You can do a stitch selection with the LCD display, where the stitch selection interface divides them into four separate groups. Simply use the arrow buttons on the touch screen to select the stitch group (which are grouped very nicely), and you can use the numerical keypad or the arrow to select the desired stitch. Very simple and seamless process.

The stitch quality provided is excellent, as expected of a Husqvarna Viking sewing machine. In our opinion, the decorative stitches of the Sapphire 930 are among the best, even compared to other more expensive Husqvarna Viking sewing machine products, or higher-priced products from other brands.

In the end, the Sapphire 930 might not offer a groundbreaking feature, but it provides decent features while being superb in stitch strength, appearance, and overall quality.

For those reasons, we feel that the Husqvarna Viking sewing machine Sapphire 930 can especially appeal to beginners, although with the overall stitching quality, it can also cater veterans and even commercial use. However, it might be a little complicated for young children, so we wouldn’t recommend it for educational use with children in elementary or middle school.
