Reserve Bank of India is the central bank of the country. Reserve Bank of India was established on the recommendations of the Hilton Young Commission, the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 ( 2nd of 1934), forms the legal basis for the functioning of the bank, which started on April 1, 1935.
