What to do if AMD Catalyst Control Center cannot be started in Windows 10
Let me explain first what is Catalyst Control Center? Catalyst Control Center (CCC) is a utility that comes with AMD display drivers and it lets you customize display profiles, display settings, and video performance. If you want to management display, adjustment color and you can’t open Catalyst Control Center, this tutorial for you.
Method 1: Open Catalyst Control Center from the installation directory
This is easy the simple method and in order to do this you follow the steps below:
Step 1. Navigate to: Program Files (x86) > ATI Technologies > ATI.ACE > Core-Static > AMD64
Step 2. In the AMD64 folder, double click CLIStart.exe to run CCC. This will open Catalyst Control Center without any problems.
If this issue still persists, you can try to Method 2.
Method 2: Uninstall all ATI/AMD display drivers and reinstall them
To start Catalyst Control Center, you make sure have installed Visual C++ 2013 and Microsfot NetFramework. If your graphics or driver cause to this problem, you’ll need clean removal and then reinstall your graphics drivers. To do that, follow these steps:
Step 1. First, you download and run Display Driver Uninstaller to uninstall your drivers.
Download Display Driver Uninstaller by click here.
Step 2. After you’ve downloaded a compressed file called “[Guru3D.com]-DDU.zip“, extract it with WinRar.
Step 3. Go into the folder and double-click the DDU v##.##.exe to extract more files to this folder.
Step 4. Now you double-click Display Driver Uninstaller.exe to run it. If it asks you to boot into Safe Mode, select Yes.
Step 5. After entering safe mode, DDU will pop up. Then you select your GPU manufacturer (AMD) from the drop down list.
Step 6. Next, you click the Clean and Restart option. If Window asks you to disable Windows automatic installation of display drivers, click Yes.
Step 7. Wait until the current process is completed, then reboot back into Windows. Now you will manually download the latest drivers from AMD.

Step 8. Lastly, you reinstall your graphics drivers.
