“Shopping is a blessing not an expenditure”- Bazil Patel. When I came to Dubai my first impression was Woah!, the place is just UH-MAZING, no questions asked, no assumptions made, just straight end conclusion. Speaking less for my annoying one liners, I am here to talk about the malls of Dubai. Though I am not a shopaholic but I do like some eye treats and Dubai is the place for it. So did I happen to mention it, that’s another lonely story of a lonely soul for another lonely day.
Malls of Dubai (girls do take a note of this)
Burjuman Centre: The place is located in Bur Dubai and is a shoppers heaven. I went here on my roommate’s recommendation and was impressed at the sight itself. The place is mainly known for its fashion and electronic stores and has amazing dining options as well. A tip, whenever you step here, do visit Burberry, Dior, Versace and Louis Vuitton, the collection is just stupendous.
Mall of Emirates: Another retail heaven, the mall includes a fashion dome which houses several global high street shops. Other than just big retail stores, the mall also has department stores like Harvey Nichols and Debenhams. Entertainment spots like DUCTAC, Magic Planet and Ski Dubai and Vox Cinemas are there, family and friends can enjoy, couples will have to excuse.
The Dubai Mall: Created right next to Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain, the mall is the largest mall of Dubai and adores outlets like Candylicious, Nike and Victoria’s Secret, plus the nearby Souk. I came here via Burj Khalifa metro so that is one transportation option for anyone looking out for it. I ate at Vapiano and Yo Sushi so this became my favorite place but you guys can also try out Nando’s and BurgerFuel and Panda Chinese.
Dubai Outlet Mall: Housing approximately 240 stores, the mall always remain crowded, either by residents or by tourists. When I first saw it, it looked like a huge brandhouse with plenty of premium luxury brands like Chanel, Dior, Guess, and more, girls can assume the brands along. For families Check E Cheese is the place for them.
Mercato Mall: To be clear, this one is my favorite as it is a Renaissance-themed shopping mall which has a great mix of boutique, luxury and high street stores. The offering of the place keeps changing with time, when I visited stores like Spinneys supermarket, Accessorize, Happy Socks, Sunglasses Hut, and Aldo were there. Possibility is that it can change at the time when you guys visit.
The Village Mall: I would call the place as surprisingly well-stocked shopping spot and for me it was indeed a surprise. As soon as you step in you can find Organic Foods and Café supermarket along with health supplements boutique, kids’ attire and others as well. In my opinion the place is best for families and friends.
