Dorset-based, The Southern Sustainability Partnership, has set the 18th May as the date for the region’s first Eco Motor Show ‘Big Green Wheels 2018’. The event is designed to educate members of the public and organisations alike to enable them to make informed purchasing decisions in this fast-changing electric car landscape.
The event will be held on the Berm at the Ageas Bowl, the home of Hampshire Cricket near the city of Southampton. A venue which offers plenty of free parking and benefits from easy road and rail links to draw visitors from Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and beyond.
In pole position at Big Green Wheels will be the Tesla brand and revving up close behind the What Car vehicle of 2018 the new Nissan Leaf – as well as a showcase of the very latest in eco cars, vans, mopeds from Italy and electric pedal bikes. There will be a unique ‘try before you buy experience’ with vehicle test drive opportunities and a moped and electric pedal bike practice chicane. Further stands will offer transport-related products, services and fleet management solutions.
An exclusive for the day will also include the Toyota Hydrogen Fuel Cell vehicle as it makes a rare visit to the South West for the event.
