Friends of driveEV, Husband and Wife team Chris and Julie Ramsey have embarked on their a most epic electric adventure ever. Driving from their home in Aberdeen to Mongolia as the first ever electric car to enter the Mongol Rally, in their slightly modified Nissan LEAF 30kwh.

Known as Plug in Adventures, this isn't the first massive journey Chris has undertaken. Previously having driven from Lands End to John o'Groats in his own Nissan LEAF and also driving from Aberdeen to Monte Carlo and back in a BMW i3.

Here Robert Llewellyn of Fully Charged interviews Chris before his departs on his 10,000 adventure, which began on Sunday 16th July.  As I write, the team are in Istanbul, Turkey which borders the Asia continent nearly 2,500 miles away from home… all in aid of WWF.
