The Colonisation of Greece by the EU

The tactics to colonize Africa are the same today as they were centuries back: Invest in one small group of people, by supporting and bribing kings and dictators; make them rich so you can control them and their countries riches. As long as the bribes are rolling, so will the elite roll to your companies’ exploitation wishes.

In EU, some companies/countries are trying the same recipe. During the last decade, Germany and others used EU to apply as much or little control was needed for their economies to grow. This also involved large bribes, wherever bribes were welcomed. At this moment, two large trials are happening in Greece involving German companies, like Siemens, which used among other means momentary bribes to Greek officials, so they can win multibillion dollars contracts. While they would become rich and strong, Greece and other would become weak and poor.

Those bribes were lethal to Greece as they have been lethal for centuries in Africa. Not by themselves, but by promoting a culture where politicians are not thinking and acting for those who voted them in, but for themselves and their mates. In Greece, all those unnecessary loans that were singed by those politicians with ridicules interest rates are the Economic doom of the country. In fact, all the new political parties are asking for renegotiation of those loans and their interest rates.

What the colonials were scared the most was democracy. They successfully managed to delay elections in Greece for half a year, putting in an interim government who did what?... approved new loans and new austerity measures that have seen Greek pensioners’ standard of living fall at the bottom of the EU scale. The economic union of Europe would be the same union as the master and the servant.

However, now the true elections are happening. And the Greek people have spoken: none of the current parties are good enough. So they are going to another election in June. And Europe with the rest of the stock markets are afraid. They are really afraid of this democratic revolution against the big countries, trying to economically kill off the small ones. And like any other revolution, it is powerful enough to bring the GFC back on the table. Greeks just had it, and they are happy to leave the EU and any other organisation who tells them that they have been bad and they need to be punished to starvation. But if Greece Leaves, if the bottom decides that they no longer want to play the game, then the top will fall. If Greece leaves, next will be Spain, Italy etc, etc. All those countries have billions of loans to German and French banks. Those banks had 2 years to prepare themselves for this and maybe they can survive it. Or not... Regardless, if Greece leaves, economic depression will find Europe again.

As a last attempt, the German Chancellor proposed a referendum in Greece, so the Greek people could vote for both their government and their stay in Europe separately. Unfortunately for that European colonial cook, this is not allowed by the Greek Constitution. You need to have a government to call a referendum. Europe and the rest of the world can only sit back and wait for the Greeks to decide on their economic future. Isn’t it nice when the tables are turned?

The rest of the world, especially France and the rest of the G8, have seen the future and are now calling for no more austerity but investment in Greece. Is it too late? For Greece, there can only be better days for the future. That is the luxury of having reached rock bottom. For Europe, maybe now or after they face economic ruin, they will come together again and see the EU as a true union, with common constitution and true economic integration. If not, China is waiting at the door to colonise all, one by one.
