I don't know what it is about priests, but it seems that they are joining the church for the wrong reasons. There are more and more accusations of priests committing Child Abuse than ever before. It also seems that the current Pope has a problem with getting rid of child molesting priests. I wonder, what could his reasoning be for allowing priests who have been accused of child molestation charges to stay actively involved in the church. I think we might have a case of skeletons in the closet, and in my personal view this might be his way of making himself feel better. Let me make this clear, that is just my opinion. I can't say we did not see it coming, from day one of his appointment this Pope already was coming on board with problems. Pope Benedict Xvi is currently the most interesting Pope to date. The Pope has been accused of many things, and still it seems that child abuse cases are his bread and butter. I understand that sometimes people are found to be working hard to rid the world of the Catholic Church, but even I have to wonder, how many times can a person be accused of something before we realize that it might just be the truth.
