On Saturday January 14, 2017, I went to an immigrants rights rally in San Jose, California. I was debating whether to go or not, as I'm still recovering from a flu that I've had for about a week and a half. San Jose's City Hall is only a 15 minute drive, though, and my brother and niece wanted to go. So I took my camera and went. Wandering through the crowd, I met some Filipino American activists who I knew. I introduced them to my brother and niece and we talked about immigrant issues, especially those pertaining to Filipinos and the DACA program.
