As the terrorists have found, Attacking American pride does nothing but strengthen the　resolve of the American people, to impose their will on the world, more quickly and with greater vigour and force.

Since the American Revolution, naming an enemy and attacking it head on has been deeply entrenched into mainstream American life. When attacking an identified enemy the same pattern usually applies: First, an overbearing enemy, be it, oppression, terrorism or communism, is labeled. Next comes the struggle to survive, which includes hard work and enterprising. Finally, the story ends with good triumphing over evil.

The spirit of their prided revolution lives on.

Tyranny was labeled the enemy during the first and second world wars. Then it was the cold war, the Soviet Union, communism and the race to the moon. Yes, they lost the battle at Vietnam, but beat communism in the end.

Today the axis of evil is terrorism, and America is more strongly united then ever before.

They will on all fronts, always protect their interests to the better or to the detriment of the rest of the world. "We are either with them or against them."

Why shouldn't they protect their interests? Because the world doesn't like it? Well too bad! - was the message as American　voters defiantly re-elected GW and the republicans in 2004, practically giving a free reign to ultra conservatives to defend the homeland from future and present danger.

Personally I don't buy into anti-American sentiment. What is the goal of constantly bashing traditions, accomplishments and values that are so important to them? If the goal is to break their spirits, let’s face it that is never going to happen.

There is no future in attacking their way of life.

It is also not reasonable for, a country of 290 million to dictate how 6 billion people live and what resources they are able to consume. Thus, America should be made aware of anti-Americanism. After all, people don't burn flags, hurt traveling private citizens or crash airplanes into buildings without a reason.

To those who are frustrated over American foreign policy, politics or naiveties, and there are many; consider what has been said here.

The alternative is for the world to risk the US labeling anti-Americanism as the next axis of evil to struggle against; and as history has shown, time and time again, they don't like to lose.
