Wake Up with the Bedtime Alarm

While you might have got used to tapping the Timer icon from the Control Centre on your iPhone, selecting Alarm once there, and turning it on (in this particular order), you’re sure to like the new Bedtime Alarm feature Apple has for you. This useful addition was incorporated in the Clock app and what it does is let you set the time when you want to wake up and the number of hours you’d like to sleep each night. We found it really cool and will definitely be using it in the future!

Access the Second Control Centre Panel with Ease

If we want to turn on the Wi-Fi or the flashlight on our iPhone, all we have to do is swipe up from the bottom edge of our phone to “activate” the Control Centre. However, did you know that there’s another panel that you can access if you swipe to the left while you’re viewing the Control Centre? In this panel, you can see playback controls for your music or podcasts.

What’s “Raise to Wake”?

Remember how, if you wanted to look at your iPhone’s Screen, you had to press the home button or slide to open it? Well, thanks to Raise to Wake all you need to do now to view notifications and the times is pick up your device. That’s it! However, if you don’t like your phone’s display flashing everytime you lift it, just disable the Raise to Wake in the Settings>Display & Brightness.

Decide What Appears on Your Lock Screen

Whenever you get a message, a notification, or an update, it appears on your iPhone’s screen. While it might be convenient at times, it can be troublesome if someone else sees your info or reminders. That’s why, you can go to Settings>Touch ID & Passcode and disable anything you don’t want showing up on your screen without your passcode.

Make Use of the Night Shift Mode

It’s a well-known fact that the cool colours on our phones can make it more difficult for us to go to sleep, which is why it’s recommended for you to change them to warmer shades. To activate the Night Shift mode, simply got to Settings>Display & Brightness. Once there, you can schedule the mode to activate in a certain period of time or just enable it manually and leave it like that until the next day.
