How to View Saved Passwords Using Siri in iOS 12 and macOS Mojave

Recently while taking a close look at the much-improved “iCloud Keychain,” I discovered that it’s a lot easier to find Passwords with Siri in iOS 12 and macOS Mojave.

No more digging deep into the Settings to view all of the saved passwords in iCloud keychain! Many a time, the secret codes seem to go away from my mind, and I had to dive into a tad long route to track them down. Now that Siri is always there to cut the chase, accessing the apps or website passwords stored in the keychain is a bit smooth sailing.

How to Quickly Access Saved Passwords Using Siri on iPhone and Mac

How to View Passwords On iPhone and iPad Running iOS 12

Step #1. Simply invoke Siri and then either speak or type something like, “Show my saved passwords,” “Show my Facebook passwords,” “Find my Amazon passwords.”

Step #2. Next, you need to authenticate using your Touch ID/Face ID or passcode.

Once the authentication is done, you will see your stored passwords on the iCloud Keychain page.

How to Show Passwords Using Siri On Mac Running macOS Mojave

Step #1. Activate Siri on your Mac. To do so, click on the Siri icon in the menu bar.

Note: On your iMac Pro and 2018 MacBook Pro, say “Hey Siri.”

Step #2. Now, you can speak or type something like, “Show my Twitter passwords,” “Find my Instagram passwords,” “Show my saved passwords.” etc.

Step #3. Next, you have to authenticate using Touch ID or user account passwords.

Once you have verified your identity, you will have access to your passwords. Told you, it’s become pretty simple to find the stored keys.
