RFID Technology Improves Radar Detectors

Manufacturers of Rfid Technology necessarily have also adapted to these technological advances. They must solve the False Alarms often triggered by the old-model detectors. These errors occur because there are lots of devices that operate within the electromagnetic band used in Radar guns. The radars’ electromagnetic emissions, for example, are operating within the same spectrum as devices for automatic door access. As a result, false alarms will be triggered when the detectors’ super heterodyne receivers intercept signals from the wrong sources.

Solution which the manufacturers of RFID Technology made was to incorporate GPS expertise to their products. With the GPS function, users can input the locations where radar speed monitoring devices are installed. The detector then is programmed to sound an alarm when the user’s Vehicle is approaching the identified radar station. Some detectors may even record the GPS coordinates of the speed radar stations. Frequent sites where false alarms are encountered could even be stored in to the memory of the detectors. With the stored information, the detector will ignore any future signal from those locations.

There is a smart way to find out if you’re driving speed is being monitored through radar. Electronic devices have been developed to detect the radio waves being beamed to vehicles by Radar Guns. These radio-wave intercepting devices are called radar detectors. Technologies keep on improving and with these advances radar monitoring of vehicles have likewise continued to evolve. Hence, present radar guns are not only hand-held but are also mounted on vehicles for better and more efficient vehicle speed monitoring.
