Scam calls are a bitter reality in the current times. With so many different ways of gaining access to our personal information, it’s not a surprise when we find ourselves on some unwanted caller’s list. If you are the target of any such scammers, just follow these simple steps to block those unwanted calls.
- Open the Settings app on your Android phone.
- Click on ‘Applications’.
- Select the ‘Phone’ application.
- You will see an option for ‘Call blocking’. Select that.
- Select the ‘Block list’ option.
- To add a phone number to the block list you have two methods.
Method 1) Type the number in the ‘Add Phone number’ field and click on the ‘+’ sign.
Method 2) Open the phone contacts and select the contact that you want to block.
Once the contact’s number is in the Phone Number field, click on the ‘+’ sign and it will get added to the phone’s block list.
- To remove a contact or phone number from the block list, just click on the ‘-‘ sign next to it.
