Oppo is reportedly working on launching a new smartphone dubbed the Oppo R17 Neo. The full specifications and features of the device have recently appeared on the internet courtesy of Mysmartprice.

Starting things off with the display, the Oppo R17 Neo will reportedly sport a 6.41-inch AMOLED display giving out a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The device will measure 158.3 x 75.5 x 7.4 mm and weigh in at 154 grams.

Under the hood, the Oppo R17 Neo will be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which will have a scope of further expansion with the help of an external SD card.

Moving on to the cameras of the device, the Oppo R17 Neo will sport a dual Camera setup at the back (16MP + 2MP) and a 25MP selfie snapper. There will be a physical fingerprint scanner at the back. Furthermore, you will be able to unlock the device using its facial unlock mechanism as well.

As far as the OS is concerned, the device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

As of now, there is no word on the price and the release date of the device. That said, we can certainly expect to receive further intel on the same in the matter of the coming days. Also, the device is expected to be launched in the month of November, so it is almost certain that the official specifications will be revealed pretty soon.
