Earlier we had few reports about Xiaomi has finally started pushing the beta version of Android 9 Pie update to Mi A2. Within s few days after the Beta update, Xiaomi has now rolled out the stable version of the much awaited Android 9 Pie to Mi A2.

As per the source, the new Android 9 Pie update is just hitting Mi A2 devices sold in India at the moment. There are no details about when other countries will receive the new update. The new OTA update brings Gesture-based UI along with Adaptive Battery and will also bring the November month Android Security patch.

So if you own Mi A2 do keep checking for the update and is recommended to download the update file through Wifi as it weighs around 1GB in size.
