Happy Easter everyone! This is my favorite time of year. The weather is getting warmer, I can go outside and run around, or simply lay in the sun without roasting. Tomorrow is Easter Sunday, and I have to say it is one of the human holidays that confuses me the most. During the Easter season humans are celebrating new life. Everywhere you look there are eggs, jelly eggs, baby chickens, baby ducks, bunnies, and lambs. Here is where I’m confused — if they are celebrating new life, then why are they eating the very same things they are celebrating? Lamb for dinner anyone? I’m happy that there is no dog celebration day, or I could end up on a plate! At times like these, I realize how lucky I am to be a dog — life is much less complicated!
