REVIEW – Rosalie’s Zero Suds Laundry Powder

This post is sponsored by Rosalie’s Zero Suds Laundry Powder. Please note that, as always, any personal opinions reflected in this post are my own and have not been influenced by the sponsor in any way.

I always thought that it was the Suds in laundry detergent that made my clothes clean. I honestly thought the more suds, the better. Well, it turns out that suds do not clean your clothes and can actually cause problems for your washing machine!

Rosalie’s Zero Suds is a brand new laundry detergent that gets your laundry its cleanest and leaves no residue to clog your washing machine. Regular detergents have too many suds, suds that leave a residue on your clothes and clog up your machine. Rosalie has a patented zero suds technology that blends a higher concentration of cleaning agents and prevents oversudsing so that your clothes comes out exceptionally clean.

So, here’s my honest reaction to trying Rosalie’s Zero Suds.

The first thing I thought when I opened the package was that the box was so small. I thought I was just sent a trial size and I wasn’t too happy about that! When I read the packaging, I was shocked to see that my small box was supposed to wash 100 loads of laundry! What!?  How could that tiny box have 100 loads of washing power in it?

I took some pictures of the filled scoop from the detergent box next to measuring spoons, so you could see the actual size of the scoop! It is just under one tablespoon to wash a regular load of laundry! It is incredible to me that one tiny scoop will wash a big load of laundry!

The next thing I did was stick my nose in the box and take a big sniff. I am very sensitive to strong scents and even have gotten migraines just from a particular scent. I smelled a slight “clean” scent, almost nothing at all-which is perfect for me! I actually don’t like my laundry detergent to compete with the scent of my soap, shampoo or perfume.

I then put in a big load of dirty socks and towels. I used just one scoop and washed my load with warm water. My laundry came out bright, clean and smelling fresh! I didn’t use any spot cleaner, but you can use a bit of Rosalie’s Zero Suds Laundry Powder with some water to pre-treat stained areas.

When I think of the amount of money I have wasted on buying water (liquid detergents are mostly water) and that the suds that I thought were so good were actually causing damage to my washing machine, I could scream! I am so happy to have found out about Rosalie’s! Now my clothes will be clean and my washing machine will be protected!

Here’s a neat video that shows Rosalie’s in action.

You can purchase Rosalie’s Zero Suds at select stores in MA and NH or online. The price for a 50 load box is $15, an 80 load box is $21 and the 100 load box like I tried is $26.
