Planning A Family

Tags: children

As I was growing up, I would say that I wanted "at least five Children and if God gave me more then I would take those too". Once I grew up and stepped into the real world, I realized that there are other things that I must strongly consider and stabilize in my life before having children so abundantly. Now I have one child and would like to have another one soon because I would like for my children to be close in age. Unfortunately, I am torn with this type of decision because of different issues that may impact my ability to provide for my children the way that I would like to and simply because of the lack of energy that I have with one child. Although, these are my concerns someone implied to me that my worries were ridiculous and that people DO NOT plan children anymore. Is this true? Do people plan their families and do they take into consideration the various circumstances that may affect their child and their ability to provide for them comfortably?
