Chicken chilli (Neil’s creation)


It’s been almost two week since we have been staying at Hotel Nifa and now I have a strong bonding with the hotel staffs. Swapnil the multi tasking guy from the hotel is quite a character. I asked him if I could use his kitchen to prepare my all time favourite Chicken Chilli. He was more then happy for me to cook as he didn’t have to prepare my dinner. I like this dish to be be sweet and sour and spicy like the way most Nepalese people like it. So the key ingredients that I used was red onions, fresh red tomatoes and green pepper. Firstly,I grilled the chicken for 5-6 minutes and took it out of the pan. Then I steer fried the onions,tomatoes and the green pepper. I like to give a bit of twist so i added a bit of curry power in it. Then I added the grilled chicken in the wok and ster fried it for a minute before finishing it with a dash of soy sauce,chilli sauce and ketch up.
