We planned a big day 2 in Jeju. Our itinerary for the day was:

We started the day by queuing outside Jamae Guksu for 20 minutes.

Jamae Guksu seats about 20 people however the turnover is very quick, most people finish their meal in 10 to 15 minutes.

The restaurant is known for it's pork noodles but they do have other choices on the menu.

We ordered the Gogi-guksu (Noodles with pork soup) and Bibim-guksu (Noodles mixed with vegetables, meat and spicy hot sauce). The noodles were both the same for both dishes and were thick and chewy with a nice texture. The Bibim-guksu was mixed in spicy sauce but it wasn't really that spicy. The Gogi-guksu has strong sesame flavor and the hot broth made it very comforting to eat. We saw people adding kimchi to the broth so we tried that and tasted quite good!

After our comforting breakfast, we went to check out Dongmun Market.

Dongmun market was quite empty, most stores were selling local goods and souvenirs. You will find some street food stores and seafood stores but we didn't try them out. It was nice to walk through the market to experience the local lifestyle.

Later in the afternoon we visited Osulloc Tea Museum, your Jeju trip is incomplete if don't visit Osulloc!

Osulloc is known for it's tea. The tea museum is filled with loads and loads of tourists so you literally need to fight for parking! The museum itself showcases not only different teas but also different tea cups and tea pots from different countries through time.

Osulloc not only sells tea and Green Tea flavored chocolates, it also has it's own cafe that sells yummy green tea goodies, if I remember correctly it also sells mango flavored goodies!

We ordered a set from the cafe so we could try multiple items. Our set came with soft serve green tea, green tea flavored frappuccino and green tea cake. Every single item we ordered was soooooooooooo goooood! The green tea flavor was super rich and strong and the cake was soft and fluffy and not dry at all, we loved every bit of it!

Outside the main Osulloc building there's a bunch of green tea fields for tourists to take photos.

Right next to Osulloc is Innisfree. Innisfree is from Jeju so you have to visit when you're in Jeju.

The Innisfree store has three main parts, a cafe, the store selling cosmetics and a DIY section. We didn't try the cafe since we already had some green tea goodies at Osulloc so we decided to make our own soap.

You'll need to purchase your own soap DIY kit, there's several flavours to choose from and each kit can make 3 soaps.

This was our little work station, you can refer to the tablet for instructions, they also have instructions in different languages!

After our lovely DIY session at Innisfree we went Glamping!! Glamping is luxury camping and I actually learnt about glamping after watching Taemin and Naeun in We Got Married!

We went Glamping at The Shilla Jeju.

We booked our glamping session 6 months in advance because it was definitely something I did not want to miss out. We booked the night session meaning you can start from 6PM and go til midnight. The tent is well ventilated and very cosy. It has a tablet, huge sofa, table and a fake fireplace.

We were greeted with some welcome drinks and a basket of Jeju mandarins! There's pretty much only one choice on the menu which was a set dinner and it's pretty expensive, the set included selections of meat, seafood, kimchi and other goodies, you refer to their actual site for more details (http://m.shilla.net/jeju/activities/viewActiv.do?contId=GCV).

The waiters asked us how quick we wanted to eat our dinner and we said within about 2 hours but it ended up being almost 3 hours! The chefs cooked our dinner on the BBQ outside the tent and the waiters were super attentive. Below are a couple of our dishes.

The whole meal is pretty much a fine dining experience in a tent. We did bring some card games to play however we thought that they should have included some things for us to do inside the tent when we wait for the food.

One of the highlights of the glamping was watching the chef plate the dessert in front of you and they will also personally write a message of your choice on the dessert.

We were very full after our meal, we couldn't even finish all the dishes! The glamping experience was great and I'm glad that we did it as I've been looking to do this for quite some time, it would definitely be a romantic cosy experience for couples. The only downside I would say is that we wanted them to include some activities or games we could play inside the tent so that it would feel like it's more of a glamping experience rather than just a fine dining experience.
