Spruce Tips Pesto. Kuusevõrse pesto

Classical recipe, pesto, with Estonian twist. For base I used tart and fresh Spruce Tips, combined with hazelnuts and local hard cheese.
Wonderful combination and spread for a rye bread or as salad.

Spruce Tips Pesto

A fresh, light, spring Spruce Tips Pesto from Nature



Ingredients

  • Spruce Tips
  • garlic
  • chopped fresh basil, marjoram and parsley
  • grated hard cheese
  • hazelnuts
  • little bit oil
  • salt

Directions

  1. Put in to the blender spruce tips, salt, greens, nuts and cheese and little bit good oil
  2. make fine. Season with smashed garlic, and some pepper, if needed
  3. Mix together.
