Have been meaning to learn Mandala, Zentangles or Hatha Yoga for a while? Not sure where to watch a cool stand-up or improv show or teach basic theatrical skills to your little one? We suggest you check out this new Learning Lab on Ananda Road in Alwarpet. It is offering sessions in everything you could possibly think of!

CurioPlay is a new experiential activity centre that holds events and workshops that that make Learning a lot of fun. One can expect to see stand-up comedy shows, poetry, improve shows, learn brush lettering, wellness techniques, understand design thinking for kids or listen to intimate music sessions and look out for interesting pop ups at CurioPlay. The lab is the brainchild of two young women – Priyanka Navneet and Charanya Prabhakar and they intend Chennaiites to ‘Stay Curious’.

CurioPlay intends to create an experimental space for all forms of art, culture, wellness and science to thrive. They have sessions by Evam, Crea-Shakthi, Warhorse, Colour Company and MyCopie planned for November.

The place has been attracting a steady flow of individuals – both children and adults.
