Creamery Boutique Ice Creams | Something Special Besides Your Usual Lava Cakes

Spring into this jolly season, at the Creamery Boutique Ice Creams!

Tucked into a cozy corner along Tyrwhitt Road, this café serves freshly-baked lava cookies – something special besides your usual lava cakes. Pamper yourself with their wide selection of artisan homemade ice cream, usually served atop their delicious lava cookies.

Getting into the festive vibes, Creamery now serves 2 Christmas themed desserts, utterly pleasant to both the eyes and the stomach.

A twist to the basic chocolatey desserts, the lava in this cookie is made up of a mixture of Chocolate Couverture and Johnnie Walker Whisky. The Whisky taste is prominent yet not too strong, suitable for everyone’s consumption. Paired with the My Chocolate Ice Cream, it is a dark chocolate ice cream made with less sugar and cream, which means eating to your heart’s content without putting on extra belly rolls!

This dessert came as a surprise with the combination of flavours. A blend of White Chocolate and Kyoto Matcha oozes out of the Red Velvet flavoured cookie, at the slightest touch of the Apple Crumble Ice Cream. The sweetness of the Red Velvet cookie perfectly balances out the bitterness of the Matcha. The Apple Crumble Ice Cream is hand-made with fresh Apples, Cinnamon and Nutmegs, leaving it not too overly sweet. For Christmasy aesthetics and taste, this is hands down the winner for me.

The popular one on their usual menu, this was a burst of unique flavours all in one mouthful. The rich salted egg lava in this cookie is made with fresh salted eggs, complementing the refreshing Secret Garden Ice Cream which is made from the Eternal Garden Tea. This is one really special salty and sweet dessert!

To cleanse my palate after having those yummy desserts, I opted for their Eternal Garden Tea. This Tea unique to Creamery is light and refreshing, tastes really good!

Each and every cookie made clearly brings out an artwork from the baker, soft in the middle thanks to the molten lava fillings, and more chewy and crispy on the outer corners.

Not forgetting their homemade ice creams, made with all natural/original ingredients. The flavours of their ice creams change with every new batch of ice creams being made, so be sure to try all the unique flavours before they run out! You can also choose to eat their ice cream without a cookie, at S$3.80 per scoop.

A nice and affordable place to spend some time at this Christmas, Creamery is a must to visit!
