Simple spaghetti recipe for my boy’s 18th birthday

I cooked spaghetti for K’s 18th birthday today. I used the spaghetti noodles and sweet sauce package from UFC.

The other ingredients include:

1/2 kilogram Ground Pork, 1 can mushroom (chopped), shredded carrots, Minced Red Bell pepper, garlic, white or yellow onion, salt and pepper, cup of water, grated cheese.

Procedure is so simple.

In a large pot, boil 5 or more cups of water. Add a pinch of salt and little cooking oil prior to boiling. Add the spaghetti noodles and Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes. Occasionally stir. Drain and rinse in running water for a couple of minutes.

For the sauce. Saute garlic and onion, add ground pork. Add salt and pepper. Let it simmer until the ground pork turns a little brown. Add water and simmer for a few minutes. You can now add the chopped mushroom, shredded carrots and minced red bell pepper. Simmer. Add the sweet spaghetti sauce and grated cheese. Simmer. And serve.

We were planning to have a double celebration on August 4 – K’s birthday and his big sister’s graduation day.
