Valentines Day at Bottegin Palazzo Xara
This Valentines Day was one to remember for diners choosing Bottegin Palazzo Xara for their Romantic Dinner on Wednesday 14th February 2018. To make it extra special we set up a Romantic Candle Light Dinner in our Baroque Hall. The Baroque Hall features an impressive baroque ceiling, elegant fabulous chandeliers and was set up with red candles while serving a mouthwatering 4 Course Meal especially for the day.
Upon arrival guests were offered our Valentines cocktail “Cranberry Martini” a perfect combination of Martini Bianco, Cranberry Juice and Prosecco. With its stunning pinkish / red color and cranberry flavor, Valentines Day Martini is a perfect festive drink for impressing your loved ones. This cocktail was complimented with a selection of cold canapés served as an Amuse Bouche.
For starters our guests had a choice of three starters with a selection of Heritage Tomato Soup, Twisted Salade Landaise or Gnocchi Pasta
Starter Menu Selection:
Heritage Tomato Soup
cream, fresh basil leaves, croutons
Twisted Salade Landaise
confit duck leg, orange segments, orange zest, roasted pine nuts, garden leaves
For the Love of Gnocchi
onion, radicchio, blue cheese, roasted walnuts, garden leaves
As for main courses our chef prepared three favorite romantic dishes with a choice of Filet de Merlu, Suprême de Volaille or Duo de Boeuf

hake fillet, beetroot beurre blanc, clams, cabbage
Suprême de Volaille
citrus & herbs marinated chicken supreme, smoked celeriac purée, chestnut,asparagus, carrot rolled green beans, grand marnier jus
Duo de Boeuf
Argentinian rib eye, beef bon bon, fondant potato, soubise sauce, oven baked cherry tomato
Dessert:
Fondant au Chocolat
chocolate sauce, strawberry relish, walnuts
